There are many of us who use Roku that have been missing some of our live sports events on devices like the Roku (and others). However, TheNowhereMan over at the Roku Forums recently updated the PodTV channel to include Premier League soccer from FoxSoccer.tv streams FOR FREE!
I am not sure how long this will last, but for now it works great and the quality is about 480p (most of the time).
For more sports on the Roku, PodTV has plenty of other podcasts to go around (and news, cooking, full episodes, etc.) To add the NowhereTV channel, check out channels listing by going to: http://almostaccurate/roku/

I’ve registered the nowhereman private channel, and it’s great, but I’ve never been able to get live soccer. The only soccer that appears to be available are short, pre-recorded clips of English premier league games.
